Herbal Potions 101 - April 12th

This is our second class in a 3 part series to help you build your foundation to herbalism. It is not necessary to take our first class, ‘Building Your Home Medicine Cabinet”, but it is highly encouraged. Solubility is possibly the most important part of formulating any herbal remedy. To make potent extracts, you must know the best means of extraction for each herb. In this class, we will go over the difference in an herbal tea vs infusion, decoctions, cold infusions, oxymels, the folk method of tincturing, dual extraction and more. We will also learn why we use different methods of extraction. This class dives into herbal actions and solubility and includes a take home oxymel!
