Though this bug spray will help deter most bugs, we catered ours specifically to pesky southern bugs such as ticks and chiggers. The reason we get so many rave reviews on our, all natural bug spray working better than most is because we are not simply dropping essential oils into a base. In fact there are less than 5% Essential Oils in our bug spray. Instead, we use fresh plant made hydrosols and fresh plant infused witch hazel for our base. The base soaks for several weeks before enhancing the natural scent with the oils. This makes our spray light and moisturizing.

Catmint, Lemon Balm, Eucalyptus Hydrosols, herb-infused Witch Hazel & essential oils of Nettle, Grapefruit Rind, Cedarwood, Peppermint, Eucalyptus, Mint, Geranium, Rosemary, Palmarosa, Bergamot, Lemongrass, Clove & White Thyme.

Less than 5% Essential Oils.
How to Use

Test small section of arm before using. Spray deliberately all over. For tick protection spray hair, ankles & shoes.

Natural bug sprays need to be shaken, and reapplied often depending on length outside.

I'm always happy to see the positive reviews, but this does absolutely *nothing* to deter the mosquitos. At this point, I feel like I'm almost seasoning myself. I can spray my whole dang body, spend 20 minutes sitting on my front porch, and still come in covered in bites... But I can tell you the Deep Itch Salve works wonders! ;)

Hi there, thank you for sharing your experience. I'm so sorry i'm just now seeing this! Im grateful to hear Deep Itch Salve works well for you, but bummed our bug spray did not. Can i ask what region you live? This is a first for us on this product, and i can't help but be curious what the reason is!

I swear by this bugspray! I live the northeast, with TONS of ticks. Since I started using this spray for my family a few years ago, we have not had a single tick! I've tried all kinds of things, toxic and natural, and this is the only one that works, year after year. I recommend it to all my friends and family. I truly cannot recommend it enough!
