Medicinal Plants, Mushrooms & Ethical Foraging Walk with herbalist Tori & myco-expert Sarah Hawkins. This will be part class on ethical foraging and part identification walk.

Alongside Victoria, mushroom expert Sarah will lead participants in learning how to safely identify wild mushrooms and discuss their unique roles in the ecosystem. Together, we’ll also cover ethical foraging practices, including respectful harvesting, sustainable gathering methods, and tips for proper identification to ensure safe and responsible interaction with the natural world.

Sarah is a licensed wild mushroom identifier and forager, raised in the Appalachian Foothills by farmers and homesteaders. She provides edible and medicinal mushroom foraging education, teaching folks how to heal their bodies with wild medicinal mushrooms and how to differentiate edibles from toxic specimens!
