I remember my first sip. I knew it would be a summer favorite for the rest of my life. I felt my ancestors nod. But of course i had to embellish this recipe. This root beer tasting concentrate is absolutely divine and just brings you back to life when the height of the heat of the day just about takes you down. Its a summer version of our black nettle iron syrup! In that it loads you up with vitamins, minerals and enzymes while supporting maximum absorption.

My girlfriend bought this for me last summer when I was interning on a farm. I never really considered myself sensitive to heat but wow some days I almost fell out. I started putting this in my water daily and it blew my mind. I’ve never felt something make a difference like that before. I use it as a pre work out too.

I have to tell you that I am an even bigger fan of yours now (if possible), as you have SAVED me from some of the worst pain I have experienced. I have been suffering from an intense gallbladder spasm and possible gallstones since Monday and I couldn't eat or drink anything but water. I read online that Apple cider vinegar can help soothe the pain so I figured your muddy roots switchel would be even more helpful with its detox herbs...man I'm glad I followed my gut (no pun intended). Almost instantly the pain began to ease and after a couple glasses of diluted switchel I was able to eat some saltines and finally get some rest last night. This morning, more switchel and crackers for breakfast, and I feel almost normal again. I cannot thank you enough! I have yet to find an area of my life that has not been enriched by your creations. Thank you thank you thank you!
