Maiden Hair Rinse
Maiden Hair Rinse
Our treasured herbal hair rinse, a method known as “no-poo”! This magic potion really makes the whole “less is more” phrase shine.
My family & I use this rinse on our hair about 1-2 times a week…… and nothing else. I know some of you conditioner-loving, leave in conditioner/detangler/serum addicts gasped at that but it’s true. And it’s possible for you too, I promise!
If you have never heard of or tried the no poo method please read "The No Poo Method" dropdown below and I highly recommend watching this video ❣️
It is a commitment to supporting your hair and the planet ✌️
Please see section below called 'No Poo' for usage instructions and details

Ingredients
Ingredients
Aqueous extracts of Stinging Nettle, Horsetail, Rosemary, Cassia, Burdock Root, Marshmallow Root, Rose Petals, Irish Sea Moss & Tremella Mushroom with Raw Apple Cider Vinegar
Stinging Nettle, Horsetail, Rosemary & Cinnamon Bark stimulate hair follicles and encourage growth. Marshmallow Root & Irish Sea Moss thicken this mixture up to a nice “slime” consistency so you can actually feel where it is on your head and massage into scalp. Raw Apple Cider Vinegar balances the PH of the scalp which in turn regulates sebum production. The herbs chosen for this rinse are stimulating, moisturizing & rich in silica.

By switching from oil stripping shampoo and conditioner to our hair rinse, you restore the scalp’s ability to produce just enough sebum for strong, healthy and shiny hair to grow. Please note that if you have never relied on your scalps natural systems of sebum production then you have some work to do in restoring its ability to do so. Some will go through a temporary detox phase.
Shampoo strips all natural sebum, then conditioner fakes moisture with minerals that simply coat the hair. For the first couple weeks, your hair will likely over produce sebum, making it appear greasy. This is temporary! Hang tight and if you need, use a small amount of a natural soap or shampoo bar on the roots but avoiding the scalp. Dry shampoo will also be your BFF through this transition!
Organic, unfiltered apple cider vinegar is amazing for helping to balance ph. However, too much of a good thing can be bad. Please see “How To Use”.
How to use
How to use
Massage into the scalp, leave on for a minute or two OR keep it even simpler like we do and just leave it on until you’re done showering. We recommend not using more than 3 times a week. If you simply must wash your hair daily, No-Poo may not be for you.
Pro tip- Don’t be concerned with completely covering your head, scalp to tips like you do with conventional shampoo & conditioner. This bad mamajama works by stimulating and neutralizing the scalp. We recommend 4 small squirts on your scalp only. Front, back, left, right. The water will allow it to trickle down, no need to coat your hair. Your hair will not feel completely detangled like it does after conditioning. Again, conditioners agents coat your hair in mineral oils, we’re avoiding that gunk! You will need to brush your hair either in the shower or after towel drying before you can run your fingers through it.
