Making the perfect candle is hard no matter how you roll the dice. But getting the perfect ratio of Tallow, Olive Oil, Beeswax and soy is a tedious task. Making the perfect candle is hard no matter how you roll the dice. But getting the perfect ratio of Tallow, Olive Oil, Beeswax and soy is a tedious task. And my intentions were not just to make a candle, but to give folks a full sensory experience. Tallow candles were an ancestral way to light the home. It also provides a soft wax that can be used on the skin! 

We smoke the wax with Cedar heart and Juniper then melt it down with organic Olive Oil, grass fed Tallow and Local beeswax. We finish it off with a mix of Absolutes, Concretes, Olioresins, Essential Oils and a touch of 100% Natural Fragrance Oil to help with scent throw and to give you a true, smoky fire crackling in a warm cabin kind of woodsy scent. Main notes are Cedar smoke, juniper, birch & pine sap, pipe tobacco & vanilla.

Cocos nucifera (Coconut) Oil, Tallow (Grass-Fed), Cera alba (Beeswax), Glycine soja (Soybean) Wax, Fragrance (from a proprietary blend of essential oils, absolutes, concretes, and oleoresins including Cedrus spp. [Cedar], Juniperus communis [Juniper], Betula spp. [Birch], Pinus spp. [Pine] Sap, Nicotiana tabacum [Tobacco] Absolute, and Vanilla planifolia [Vanilla] Oleoresin)
How to Use

These candles can be used as a parfum/cologne and even skincare! I burn mine or use my candle warmer on it while in the show, then add a touch to my tallow butter for a yummy all over scent and moisturizer.

To Keep You Warm and Well

The fall season is hands-down our favorite one at Cedar Hill. At home the kettle is a permanent fixture on the stove and we're beginning to stock up the medicine cabinet.

Iced tea is replaced by warming elixirs. Candlelight fills the room as the days grow shorter. And we're preparing our bodies for the season with daily immune supporting rituals. Our fall release embrace the changes of the season.

Oh my gosh! I’ve only had this burning for an hour and I’m in love. The smell is divine without being overpowering. Once I blew it out, I dipped my hand into the melted goodness and used it as a moisturizer on my hands and tattoos. It feels as incredible as it smells.
