In this video, I am infusing resinous, Cottonwood Buds into Oil. I discuss the properties of Cottonwood, and other Salicaceae family member such as Willow. Most resins & saps are not water soluble and are therefor fat soluble. I go over how to extract fat soluble properties from resins & saps in a way that allows you to extract the medicinal properties as well as the fragrant properties. I will soon do a video on extracting hard, cured resins such as Frankincense & Copal, though it is very similar.
