In this video I'm using an experience I had recently that gave me the ick to explain why we need to have as much discernment as we do with corporations, with herbalists.
It hurts me to even say that, but I have been seeing so many nasty marketing hooks and tactics that work by making people doubt themselves, often preying on vulnerable communities like new moms, disabled folks and folks experiencing chronic illness.
Having discernment is a learned skill that takes mindfulness and training and its something I'd like to help you all learn. We have to read between the lines and question when things leave us with an unexplainable bad taste in our mouth.
